Success for some of our elite swimmers

Congratulations to Joel O’ Halleron Joel who was chosen to represent the North East of England in the English Schools Swimming Championships on 30th June and 1st July 2012 at Liverpool Aquatic Centre. 

Joel swam in the 100m and 200m intermediate boys breaststroke winning a bronze medal in each event.  He also swam in the 4 x 100m medley team winning a gold medal.  A great weekend for Joel and all of the North East team swimmers, who won the top team place overall on points.

UK Schools Games 2012

9th May 2012 – Well done to Joel O’Halleron for finishing second in the 200m Breaststroke at the new Aquatics Centre in London.

Congratulations to Joel O’ Halleron who has been selected to represent the North of England at the UK school games.  The games will be held at the London Aquatic Centre in May 2012. Well done Joel.

Also, congratulations to Luke Bradley Luke Bradley and Joel O’Halleron who have both achieved national times.  Luke will be swimming in the 200m butterfly and Joel will be swimming in the 100m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke and 400 individual medley.  The nationals are being held in Sheffield in July 2012.
