Success at the ASA NER Winter Championships Nov 2013

Well done to all of our swimmers who qualified for the short course North East Regional Winter Championships.

The Championships

The following A squad swimmers competed in the Junior/Senior events;

Charlotte Dibley, Molly Jopling, Ellie Cummins, Rachel Forster, Rebecca Jamieson, Lilly Rafferty, Liam Reveley, Brad Reynolds, Andrew Blackett, Joel O’ Halleron, Jack Clark.

Special congratulations to Joel O’ Halleron who reached the final in the following events;

• 100m  Breaststroke
• 200m Breaststroke
• 200m IM
• 400m IM

Joel went on to win a silver medal in the 200m Breaststroke, and bronze medals in the 100m Breaststroke and 400m IM.
