Swimming Coach Vacancy – closing date 28/2/2014

With the new season well under way the club is seeking to appoint a coach to work to take responsibility for our Club Squad.

Our Club Squad is a swimming squad for members who wish to remain in the Club but may not be able to commit full time to competitive swimming.

You must be a highly motivated and experienced individual who is able to produce swimming plans that challenge and develop our swimmers. You will need to able to demonstrate knowledge of current best practice in coaching.

Candidates must hold a minimum ASA Level 2 coaching qualification. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a swimming coach.

Swimming leagues: National Arena League and North East Junior League

Main duties will include:

Personal coaching of the Club Squad across 4 training sessions.

Help prepare swimmers for all competitions if selected.

Assist the development of the Club within Swim21 guidelines to ensure continued success as a Competitive swimming club.

Delivery of individual swimming plans for swimmers in Club squad.

Attendance of competitions and open meets to support Club swimmers.

Remuneration: Rate applicable on qualifications and experience

Hours Minimum of 5.25hours per week
