Swim21 re-accreditation

The Swim 21 Accreditation “Quality Mark” recognises nationally and regionally the clubs that are committed to providing safe, effective and quality services for the benefit of their members. It meets all of the requirements of Sport England’s Clubmark scheme and more!

Gateshead and Whickham ASC have recent received confirmation that the club have achieved re-accreditation to Swim 21 Essential level.

This has required the continued development of systems and processes to ensure that the club is a safe and healthy place for children to learn and develop to their potential. We have also worked closely with Gateshead Council and the ASA who have encouraged and the supported the club through the process.

The club is proud of this achievement and is grateful to all its supporters and volunteers that work extremely hard to make this possible.  The accreditiation shows that we remain absolutely committed to the health, safety and development of children in the Club.
