Welcome to our new website

We are very pleased to announce the launch of our fantastic new website, along with a new look we have included some features that we hope will make visiting the site a quicker, easer and more interactive experience. To make sure you get the most of the new website we have listed a few of the new features below. We hope you enjoy our new website and would love to hear what you think about it.

So whats new…

Navigation – The new website gives you easy access to the most popular GAW ASC pages with a drop-down menu. Click on ”About us” for example will reveal subpages of that section. Other new features and formatting such as “Latest news” and the “Calendar” always available regardless of the page you are on helps provide quick access to recent/relevant information.

News – we wanted news items to really stand out so we included a revamped news area where we can let everyone know about exciting developments and events at the club.

Calendar – recognising that what’s coming up – swimwise – is really important so we’ve made sure that this now really works and helps make things easier to plan.

Smartphone – we are aware that many of our visitors to the site do this on the move via their smartphones. Regular web pages aren’t necessarily easy to use via smartphones so our new website automatically recognises if the visitor is viewing via a smartphone and formats the screen and layout to make navigation as easy as possible.

Gallery – hopefully the new gallery and formatting will make it much easier to view pictures and relive Club events – even if it is remembering A squad warbling at the Easter party .

Sponsors – our sponsors play a huge part in supporting the club and as a small way of saying thank you we have now included a sponsor block which is visible on many of the pages throughout the site.
