GAW Learn to Swim 

The Gateshead and Whickham ASC Learn to Swim Scheme is the first phase of GAW’s Athlete pathway designed to provide high quality, fun and inclusive swimming lessons for all.  We cater for all levels of learner swimmer, from the novice taking the plunge for the first time to those honing skills in readiness to begin swimming competitively, while providing a crucial life skill.

A unique aspect of our swimming lessons is the implementation of crucial competitive swimming skills from the very first stage of development, designed to give swimmers in the scheme a competitive advantage should they wish to progress into the competitive phase of the Club.

GAW Learn to Swim conforms to the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme

GAW Learn to Swim runs every Sunday 3pm to 5pm.
Elswick Pool, NE4 6RS.
